Anyway, he showed me the watch, and it was a beauty, I gotta say. Not too flashy, but you could tell it was quality. He also mentioned somethin’ about it bein’ a smaller and cheaper version of some other Speedmaster, called “Speedmaster Reduced” or somethin’ like that. Introduced way back in ’88, apparently.
The Price Tag
Then came the moment of truth: the price. Now, I ain’t gonna lie, it was a bit more than I was expectin’. These things ain’t cheap, folks. But the guy assured me it was worth it, a real “investment,” he called it.
I thought long and hard about it. I mean, it’s a lot of money for a watch. But I figured, what the heck? You only live once, right? So, I took the plunge and bought the darn thing.
